THE CAM

Built right after The Bennie, this coffee table turned out better than I ever expected. Good enough that my mom, a former interior designer with impeccable taste, immediately asked me to build one for her!

At that point in my life, I hadn't spent big money on a full, coordinated living-room furniture set, but I wanted one. Building The Bennie made me realize I didn't have to. I needed four end tables, two for the sofa and two for the loveseat, and discovered C-tables, which could sit beside the furniture like traditional end tables or slide underneath it to bring the tabletop right up beside you. Better yet, I could size them specifically for our furniture and build them to coordinate with The Bennie. And the C made me think of Cameron from the start.

Built from solid wood with sturdy metal brackets, The Cam is simple, versatile and ridiculously useful. Pull one close for a laptop, snacks or a drink, slide it back out when you're finished, or just leave it at the end of the sofa. Together with The Bennie, those four little tables gave me exactly what I'd wanted: a complete set of real, coordinating furniture, built by me, for our home. And, as previously established, it was all built well enough to dance on.

Made to order. Built for life.
