THE HIGGINS
The Higgins started with a problem and no plan.
I needed a sofa table and wasn't interested in paying furniture-store prices for something made from fake wood. Until then, I'd always started with someone else's build plans, even if I had a habit of changing things along the way. This one seemed simple enough that I finally decided to skip the plans altogether and wing it. I designed the center structure in the shape of an H for Higgins, our family name.
Built entirely from solid wood with a narrow profile and clean, substantial lines, The Higgins was designed to solve a simple problem without overcomplicating it. And apparently, it was also proof that occasionally ignoring the instructions works out just fine.
Made to order. Built for life.
